Curology Celebrates Milestone with Limited-Edition Bottle

The commemorative, iridescent design celebrates over a decade of personalized prescription skincare to over 6 million patients.

Curology, the dermatologist-developed skincare company known for pioneering personalized prescription skincare online, has treated more than six million patients nationwide.

To mark the milestone, Curology is introducing a limited-edition design for Custom FormulaRx, its flagship personalized prescription treatment.

The iridescent teal and periwinkle bottle draws inspiration from Curology’s original 2015 packaging, creating a modern interpretation of the design that helped introduce millions of people to personalized, provider-led skincare.

Kathy Savitt, CEO of Curology, said:

“Serving our six millionth patient is a milestone our entire team is proud to reach. It reflects the commitment of our board-certified dermatologists and licensed dermatology providers, our scientific innovation team, and our world-class pharmacists to making high-quality, highly effective dermatological care accessible to all. It also reinforces our responsibility to keep advancing that mission.”

The Custom FormulaRx combines multiple clinically proven active ingredients in a single formula personalized for each patient.

Following an online consultation, a licensed dermatology provider may select up to three active ingredients, such as tretinoin, niacinamide, azelaic acid, and clindamycin, based on the patient’s skin, concerns, and goals.

Dr. Whitney Tolpinrud, MD, FAAD, Chief Dermatologist at Curology, added:

“Custom FormulaRx changed what people could expect from skincare by combining personalization, prescription ingredients, and ongoing medical care in one accessible experience. More than a decade later, the principle remains the same: effective treatment begins with understanding the individual patient and evolving their care as their skin changes.”

The limited-edition Custom FormulaRx bottle is available beginning today, while supplies last. Existing patients will receive the commemorative bottle in their next shipment.
